Harvest Festival Collection

A huge thank you for all the goodies that have been donated for our Harvest Festival this year.  City Mission are always overwhelmed by the generosity of our school community and this year will be no exception!  As you can see we have managed to collect a huge range of groceries and even some toiletries, all of which will support vulnerable families in our city.

Thank you so much for all your kind donations to our Harvest Festival this year.  Some classes already have quite a collection!  If you still wish to make a contribution, please can I ask that you send it in to school tomorrow.  All the contributions will then be collated and I will blog images of this prior to collection by City Mission, later on this week.

Scientific SKYLARKS!

 Over the past couple of weeks Sklarks have become scientists and carried out their very own experiment!

We were investigating into what plants need in order to survive and stay healthy. We decided to carry out an experiment on 3 plants where we would take an element away from each.

One was placed in the dark, another was placed in the fridge to take away the warmth and another was left without any water!

Strengthening Our Fingers!

 Kingfisher class are working hard to strengthen their fingers! This will help them when they are writing. 

We have been hold punching.

 We have been squirting and playing with foam.

We have been using squirt bottles to move boats around the water tray.

We have also been peeling stickers and sticking them over our names.
