Goodbye Year 6!
Farewell to our amazing Year 6! You've all done brilliantly at Bitterne Manor and been a credit to your school, your families and yourselves. You're now on the next phase of your journey and should be really excited about what you can achieve in the future. We'll miss you all but it's time for you to move on. All that is left for us to do is wish you good fortune and hope you will continue learning to be the best you can! Kestrels - it's time to fly!
Pitch For Our Pitch!
We are offering sponsorship opportunities to selected local businesses and would love to have you on board!
Our school and local community are working hard to replace our current grass football pitch. Our football pitch has served us well but is in desperate need of replacement and an all-weather multi use surface is perfect for our children and local community. This durable, long lasting artificial surface will enable our school to host tournaments, run fitness classes and lots more!
We need your help in raising funds to support this exciting new project.
Please make cheques payable to Bitterne Manor Primary School or contact Kirsty Niziolek in the school office.
For more information please contact: Kirsty Niziolek, Bitterne Manor Primary School, Quayside Road, Bitterne Manor Southampton, SO18 1DP

Our marvellous musicians shared their talents with us yesterday and were brilliant performing live to parents and Year 2. Thanks to the Showcase team for their efforts working with the children and to parents for supporting your children with music both in and out of school.

Summer Fayre Fun
A massive thank you to everyone who supported the Summer Fayre this afternoon. Once again, the PTA, children, parents and staff have worked extremely hard to produce an excellent event, which everyone enjoyed. Here are just a few of the highlights...
Kingfishers at the Blue Reef Aquarium
Kingfishers enjoyed an exciting trip to the Blue Reef Aquarium yesterday to compliment their topic Underwater world. They saw sharks, turtles, seahorses and stingrays that seemed to be waving hello! Also marvelled at many different and wonderful species of fish. They enjoyed a close encounter with a starfish that was a little shy because it stayed in the corner of the tray, and a large crab named Olive! They had fun in the playground and enjoyed a picnic outside in the sunshine.
The children were a credit to Bitterne Manor and a big thank you to the adult helpers. We cannot do trips like this without you 😊
