Netball Winners!

It really isn't about the winning but it is nice! Well done to our team on their success last night - for playing really well and representing the school brilliantly.

Our New Field!

 

As we look forward to welcoming all the children back tomorrow, I am very pleased to announce that we will have our brand new playing surface finally completed. It has been a tremendous effort getting to this point and the weather over the Summer hasn't helped but it is really ready! What a difference it is going to make - I am excited and I know the children will be too. We'll be allowing them all to take a look over the next couple of days (....in their bubbles!) and they'll be able to use it in their PE lessons from now on. Though no studs or heels, please! We also have some new grass seeding by the side so we will need to keep off that for a while as well. I will do a proper thanks to all those who have enabled this to happen very shortly. I hope to be sharing pictures of children enjoying the new space but in the meantime, some pictures of the construction below.

New Playground Markings...

... are all installed and ready for the children to use! They look really good. It is frustrating that the weather has kept us from using them today.
The funding for the markings was provided by the 'Sugar Tax' grant which we were successful in obtaining. Thanks to the support of Testlands Community in making it happen.

New Sports Kit...

...just arrived! Thanks to the PTA and all parent contributions for supporting our new Sports kit which is being modeled here by pupils. The number '91' is not our world ranking but our school identifier number across all events in the county. Looks great!

Police Organised Football Tournament

The Southampton North Neighbourhood Policing Team are hosting a 5-a-side football tournament for children aged 8 to 16 years old. It'll be held at Southampton Sports Centre on Thursday 2nd August from 9:30am to 4pm.
