An imaginative Kingfisher

Take a look at these photos of an imaginative and creative Kingfisher. She has been very busy at home and having a lot of family fun as well.

A frog puppet show. She sang 5 little speckle frogs whilst acting out the song using her puppets.

An aquarium nightlight, look how beautiful it is all lit up at night.

Being a glow in the dark stick man and creating videos.

Loo roll puppets. Can you guess what animals she has made?

A jewellery shop made from cardboard boxes.

Salt dough handprints, making a family memory.

And here she is with her dog, who has been helping her to do school work as well.

Fantastic fun!

A letter to make me smile...

I turned up to school today to the best surprise! This caring Skylark had sent me a lovely letter with a beautiful poem inside! It made my day! :)

Our science work on inheritance has led to some interesting creations!

A rainbow for Key workers

Take a look at this colourful and cheerful rainbow made out of hearts that one of our clever Kingfishers has created for all the key workers doing a fabulous job. It certainly put a smile on my face this morning.

Thank you for sharing with us all.

A budding baker...

Wow!  we are really impressed by this Kestrel's baking skills!  GBBO watch out!

One good thing about the weather...

This amazing Rook must have taken inspiration from the weather as they decided to draw the water cycle.  I am really impressed that they remembered the key words too!

Mad about Space!

As well as taking part in the tasks posted daily, these Super Swifts have been researching things that they're interested in learning about...SPACE! Take a look at some of the interesting facts that they've found out :)

Funky Food from around the...

WORLD! Yes, you heard right - food from around the world! Our Topic is all about fruit and food from around the world this half term. So I asked the class to explore food packages and see where the food came from. They were asked to research information about the country too in any way that they wanted to!

Here's some excellent examples of work sent in...

Swifts MARVELLOUS work...

For this week's English task I set the challenge of describing Grandma and her features to the Swift class. She really isn't a pleasant person! Here are some of the pieces of writing that have been sent in. The descriptive language used is brilliant :)

Super Science!

This Swift has been learning all about our Science topic linked to Animals and Humans. This week's task was all on basic needs and what animals need to survive! He used his own pet to help him think about these things and drew his pet's home. Have a sneak peek at it, it's rather cool...

The picture of his gerbil...

'Dark Knight!'

Thank you so much for sharing Jake, keep up the super work :)

Making a miniature garden!

This sensational Skylark entered a competition run by Chelsea Physic Garden to create their own PLOT ON A PLATE! Take a look below a their design! :)

How incredible does their design look! I am very impressed! :)

They even had reply from one of the organisers to say how fantastic they thought the creation was!
Well done! :)

Experimenting and applying their skills

These three Kingfishers have been enjoying their learning this week. They have been applying their knowledge to many different tasks.

They have also been investigating and undertaking a variety of experiments.

Well done Kingfishers, this is fantastic to see.  It looks like you all had lots of fun too.  Keep up the amazing work you super stars!

Making the most of every day

I am so impressed with how much this Rocking Robin has been up to at home. I get an email every day telling me what she has been up to and it brightens my day to see her looking so happy! This week, Robins were set a DT challenge to plan a healthy picnic for a teddy bear. This Robin has written a list, prepared the food and then taken it all outside to share with her bears! It all looks so yummy!

She has worked hard on her phonics, maths and writing at home and has also used the time to learn some new hobbies, including football tricks. I can't wait for you teach them to me when we are back at school!

Well done you. You really are making the most of every day and I am so proud of you!

Great home learning by this Rook

This Rook has had a really productive day with her home learning.  She has completed Maths, English and Geography today :-)
