A clever Kingfisher

We have been super impressed by this clever Kingfisher over the last few weeks. We have enjoyed seeing what he has been up to each week.

Take a look at these pictures he has sent to us.

He has enjoyed writing a story of Jack and the Beanstalk using his sound mat to help him. Such neat handwriting and super phonic knowledge.

He went on a phase 4 blends treasure hunt and sorted them into real words and alien words.

He has been a scientist this week, investigating what dissolves in water. It resulted in gloop that he enjoyed playing with and getting messy.

Here is some more phonic work he has done. He has been working so hard on his phonics.

Peter Rabbit helped this Kingfisher to learn about directions and position- under, above, in, on below, up and down.

He also had a home cinema with popcorn and snacks. Here are his teddies who came to watch the film. They each had a ticket.

Thank you for sharing these with us.

We hope everyone in Kingfisher class had a great Easter. Keep an eye on our class page, we will be adding Maths, Phonics and Rainbow challenges for you to do if you wish to.

Stay safe and keep sending us your emails and pictures, as we love receiving them.
