John Hansard Gallery Summer School

I am writing from John Hansard Gallery to share our upcoming Summer School with you!

Children aged between 7-11 who are eligible for Free School Meals in Southampton can sign up now to take part in our free summer school. The dates are Tuesday 24th to Friday 27^th, 11am to 4pm.

 

Our Summer School is a week-long event full of various activities - children and young people can sign up to specific activities, or all of them. The activities will be art-based and an opportunity to learn lots of creative skills. Participants who take part in all sessions can achieve a Discover Arts Award.

 

We would love to invite you to share this event with the children, young people, and families that you work with, as we think it would be a great opportunity to involve them in our exciting programme of activities.

To book places on our summer school, parents and carers need to complete a registration form:

By registering, you will be signing up to a catch-all web page.  

Once you have set up your account, you will be able to add family members.

You will then, as an adult on your account, be able to book activities for your children and young people.

Classroom Gardens

We thought we'd share a few pictures of the children's gardening efforts which, excuse the pun, are continuing to bear fruit (vegetables, actually!) and certainly enjoying the wet weather. These include sweetcorn , courgettes, runner beans and pumpkins!
