Our JPCSOs in the driving seat...

Our team of JPCSOs in Year 6 got a great opportunity to sit in a police car today. We were learning about emergencies and when to call 999 or not to call it. While we shouldn't probably let anyone know...the children were also allowed to try out the police siren and flashing lights! Only in the school car park, of course.

Sports and PE at Bitterne Manor

So far, Autumn Term has been a busy term with football fixtures, gymnastics and athletics practises. Coaches have come in and we currently have football and dance coaches in during curriculum time, that's not to mention after school clubs and residential activities!
Here are some pictures of a few things that have been happening.

Some Pictures from Osmington Bay!

I had the opportunity to visit Year 6 today at Osmington Bay. All children well and really enjoying themselves. Though they were a bit muddy and wind swept!!

Marwell Zoo with Year 6

The pupils in Year 6 who aren't attending the residential this week at Osmington Bay spent their day at Marwell Zoo. We had the whole zoo almost to ourselves and had a fabulous time exploring the park and finding out about all the animals. We'll be using what we've learnt and the 100's of photographs in our Africa topic.
