Dazzling Ducklings wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!

We have had a FANTASTIC week having lots of festive fun! We very much enjoyed creating our Christmas play where some of us were frogs singing a fun frog song - see if you can spot us in the school film! We also joined in with singing the whole school songs!

We have enjoyed making paper chains, decorating trees, making snowmen, decorating festive biscuits, getting stuck into messy festive play, playing party games and more!

Our elf was very cheeky on his final night in school as he decorated the classroom with toilet roll! We then found him on a zip wire heading back to the North Pole!

Have a lovely break everyone!

Merry Christmas from the SUPER Swifts!

The Swift class have been absolutely AMAZING this term! The team and I are so proud of their efforts and could not have asked for more. You have all been outstanding learners!

The festivities leading up to Christmas have been very exciting, especially with our elf causing all sorts of havoc. As today was his last day in our class, he decided to wrap something special that belonged to the Swifts and they had to earn it back...it was a challenge indeed! Luckily, they managed it!

Here's a sneak peek of what they've been up to...

Christmas Lunch

The elf this morning...

...and that's a wrap!

Thank you to all the Swift parents - you have been utterly awesome!

Have a VERY Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎄

Kestrels enjoyed their Christmas lunch!

Christmas lunch arrangements had to be a little different this year, but Kestrels said the food was really yummy....even the sprouts!  We enjoyed the Bitterne Manor tradition of making Christmas hats and singing along to some Christmas tunes and playing a few games!

Hamper Raffle Draw!

We held our 'virtual' Hamper Raffle Draw today with all the children watching on screen in their classrooms. Children from each class bubble then came down in turns to draw a ticket. Congratulations to the winners who have all been notified of their win! Thanks to our PTA for organising the event and to everyone who donated and bought lots of tickets to support us.

Jazzy Jays' Christmas lunch went with a bang

Good Afternoon,

Jazzy Jays thoroughly enjoyed their Christmas Lunch today and had great fun pulling these crackers! What a lovely way to celebrate Christmas together.

Christmas Kestrels!

Well done to Kestrels on their amazing performance for the Christmas production! They looked fabulous dressed as various elements of a Christmas dinner (a huge thank you to Mrs Meddings for all her hard work with costumes!) & performed our class song 'Sprouts Have Feelings Too' brilliantly.

Jazzy Jays smashing their Christmas performance

Well... Jazzy Jays, what can I say? You were absolutely AAAAAAMAZING!

After weeks of rehearsals, having "smile" shouted at us and singing peace child until we were chanting it in our sleep, today we recorded our final version for the Christmas production and we did not disappoint!

Miss Schofield, Miss Joseph, Mrs Kasba and Mrs Singaravaloo were so impressed by how well it all came together. Although it started as a crazy mindmap of Miss Schofield's even crazier ideas, it looked absolutely incredible when it was all put together.

Well done my Jazzy Jays - you really pulled off a tricky performance! Thank you for bringing us adults so much Christmas cheer.

Super Swifts, Granny and the Mistletoe!

The SUPER Swift class performed their production for the Christmas show earlier and it was absolutely amazing. The team and I are so proud of them all, this was their BEST show yet! The children looked absolutely wonderful in their costumes and danced their socks off. I can't wait for you to see it, the video will be made available to you all real soon.

Here are some sneak preview shots of them...

WARNING: They are very sassy!
