Sainsbury's Active Kids voucher collection ending soon...

This is the last week we can collect Active Kids vouchers when we shop at Sainsbury's. So we are letting you know that those vouchers mean a great deal for our school and provide a lot of much needed resources for PE, Games, Sports and the playground. Please remember to collect and donate on our behalf - thanks!

All sorts of exciting new equipment for the children at playtimes and lunchtimes arrived today courtesy of  the Sainsbury's Active Kids voucher scheme. Thanks for donating all your vouchers!

Last chance to collect Sainsbury's vouchers

Active Kids vouchers are only available in store or online at Sainsbury's until Tuesday 5 May 2015. So please keep collecting for us in the final few weeks if you can. Also make sure you round up all of the vouchers you've got at home, in the car or in bags and send them to us so that we can get counting. Thanks!

Sainsbury's Active Kids is Back!

It's that time of year again when Sainsbury's Active Kids vouchers can be collected for schools. The more vouchers we receive, the more resources and equipment we'll be able to get. Over the years, parents have collected tens of thousands of vouchers which we've converted into all sorts of useful things for the children - play equipment, goals, cooking and even gardening tools. Please remember to ask for your vouchers at the till.

Sainsbury's Active Kids vouchers 2013

The count is in! We managed to collect 13, 048 vouchers! A BIG thank you and well done to all those who brought vouchers in for the school. We will be using them to 'buy' some new equipment to keep the children active throughout the school.

A big shout out to all the Year 6 children who helped count the vouchers...you know who you are!!!
They did an amazing job, as you can imagine, it was a mammoth task which they did brilliantly. Thank you Year 6!

If you find any odd ones we can still add them. The closing date will be Friday, 28th June.

It's that time again!! We need your vouchers!!! Thank you so much to those of you who have already brought your Sainsbury vouchers in, the box is nearly overflowing!!

If you have any odd ones at home, in your car, or at the bottom of your bag, please send them into school. We are in the process of  choosing some exciting new equipment for the children.

Your Vouchers Needed!

Year 6 were hard at work this lunchtime counting the vouchers that you've donated to us. We've managed to collect over 3800 vouchers so far but we reckon that there's a few more thousand out there somewhere...
Please check bags, wallets, cars, grannies and the guinea pig for any Sainsbury's vouchers that might have been missed. We need them all by this Thursday!

Active Kids 2012

It's that time of year again! We are now collecting for Sainsbury's Active Kids 2012. Please ask for vouchers when shopping in your local store and support us by donating them in the box at our reception. Each year we manage to get enough vouchers to get some really amazing stuff for our children - every voucher you donate counts. Let's get collecting!

Voucher Rewards!

This years School voucher collection is complete! Our totals for this year have been 13084 Tesco and 12202 Sainsbury vouchers collected on our behalf. Thank you to everyone for donating your vouchers to us. We have already put together our order and we'll receive our free resources by September. To give you an idea of what we use them for - this is a picture of a handheld digital microscope which we can purchase using vouchers - something useful that we don't have access to at the moment. Rather than saving for one big thing we talk to the school council and staff about what they would like and choose from the wide range of resources available. This year some of the items we have ordered include a microscope, a bird hide, a bamboo water channelling set, some club cricket sets, a pop-up target and velcro balls, some rainbow river stones and a game called 'Goalball'!
