Kingfishers learning and having fun

Some members of Kingfisher class have been having lots of fun.

One decided she wanted to play shops with her mummy.  They worked together sorting and pricing the food, and then took turns being the shop keeper and the customer.  Looks like they had more to offer than some of our supermarkets!

Another Kingfisher has been working on his addition.  Look at all those calculations!  Amazing!  He also went on a hunt for signs of Spring and has made a poster showing the things he spotted.  Super work.

Rooks finding new ways of learning :-)

This Rook has certainly kept himself busy by building a lego marble maze!  That took a lot of effort and resilience!  I have been told it works really well!

I also love this activity, finding objects at home that are A-Z!

Keeping busy...

Just a quick picture of some things we've done in school with the children of critical workers.
If you'd like to try making a kite at home, here is the link we used.

Skylarks show their love for learning!

Skylarks are really showing how SENSATIONAL they are with so many lovely emails of pictures showing all the outstanding work they have been doing!

Take a look at the 3D shape hunts some of the Skylarks have been doing! :)

Swifts keep sharing!

Another SUPER Swift has reached out and got in contact with me today putting an even BIGGER smile on my face.  They've told me all about their adventure learning from home. This Swiftie has tried really hard to overcome barriers to learning with the help of his super Mummy and taken on lots of activities to help him keep active! For example, daily P.E. Maths, English, Science and baking! Have a look at some of the wonderful things that he's been up to... those chocolate cupcakes look divine :)

Keep up the amazing attitude and that super smile :)

A colourful activity!

This Rook certainly looks like she is enjoying home learning!

Swifts keep SOARING...

Good morning! Waking up to a new day and logging onto my emails is a routine that I'm getting to know well. Today I received a lovely surprise from another super Swift. Reading this message has already made my day and put the BIGGEST :) on my face - thank you!

Dear Miss Super Sangha

I hope you are ok. It's been fun at home and mummy is telling us how to do some things but I still miss you a lot.

I asked mummy if we could send you some pictures of me doing all my homework and reading my new favourite book...The midnight gang.

Don't forget to wash your hands and stay inside.

A big hug from Amazing A

Keep up the SUPER learning, I can't wait to hear from you all! :)

Super home project!

I have been sent a super poster as part of our homework project which was to design a family for The Iron Man.  Amazing work!

A little inspiration for teachers from a pupil...

How amazing is it when a message from a pupil can spread so many smiles...

A message from an amazing Jay to all the amazing teachers working hard..

Not content with just spreading love and happiness through a tough time - he continues to do some FANTASTIC home learning. Well done to my Jays - I am so proud!

Work work work from joyful Jays!

LN and ZN have been working extremely hard this past week! I am genuinely blown away with the standard of FANTASTIC work being produced by my amazing Jays! You are all so fantastic!

FAB Jay busy with his home learning..

This FAB Jay has sent in a picture of him in action! It is so lovely to see such amazing home learning going on. The children's attitude and motivation is truly inspirational... Keep it up Jays! :)

Great use of resources!

I was really impressed with this photo!  A great example of one of our Rooks using resources to solve a maths problem!  Keep up the good work :-)

The diary of...

I hope you have had a fab weekend and enjoyed the sunshine as much as possible!  I've been receiving some really lovely messages from my SUPER Swifts and parents. Thank you so much for keeping in touch.  I love reading about what you are up to or ways that you would like support with your learning. Please do get in touch if you haven't already :)

One super pupil has taken on writing to me daily and adapted my diary of style... she's been keeping me informed of her time at home and it is such a delight to read, I can't express just how much it makes my day reading these comments. So much so, I had to share!

Bit biased but I think her writing is SUPER!

Remember to check out my diary page along with all the other fun tabs on our class page!

Stay Safe and Keep Working! :)

We all need to save the Planet in a different way,
To help the Planet day by day,
All the bad fumes from the air,
Are everywhere,
Don't litter anymore,
Because all the rubbish will show up at the shore,
Soon there will be more rubbish than fish in the sea,
This is coming down to a tragic degree,
Take a look at our Ocean,
And give it some devotion,
Use a reusable shopping bag so you use less plastic,
Make sure you be enthusiastic,
When telling everyone you know,
That they need to show,
Some love for our Earth,
So they respect what its worth.

Making the most of the warm weather

One of our Kingfishers has been super busy at home.

She planted her seed from school and is watching it everyday.  She has also helped to plant lots of vegetable seeds, including pumpkins, squash, cherry tomatoes, beef tomatoes, basil, marjoram and dill.  You must send us some pictures when these begin to grow.  What a lovely variety of vegetables you will have!  She also enjoyed making a Spring braclet, using sticky tape and flowers from the garden.  Beautiful.

She has also been learning about 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and numbers as she works on some of her school pack sent home.  Well done, what a star you are!  Looks like Daddy is working hard too.

Keen Kestrels!

Morning kestrels!
Thank you so much for all the fabulous work that has continued to come in over the weekend.  It looks like lots of you have been busy and trying out the tasks we set on the class page of our website last week.  We have posted lots of exciting new ideas for you this morning, mostly based around a book called Flotsam, which you can view on YouTube (it's a picture book with no words!), but feel free to go carry on with activities from last week too, we don't mind when you chose to complete them!
Here's some pictures of some of the amazing work we have received so far!
