Kestrels go online!

Just look at some of the fantastic slide presentations Kestrel class have created as an introduction to our new topic 'Ancient Greece'.  These are just a few of the slides we received today; there were so many brilliant pages it was impossible to share them all.
What a wonderful start to your remote learning on Google Classroom Kestrels!  We are so impressed by how you have engaged with your learning today and got stuck in to this very new way of  doing things.

Fabulous Home Learning from Kestrels

Well done Kestrel Class, lots of fabulous home learning obviously took place last week.  Thank you to those of you who have shared your amazing efforts.  We love seeing what you have been up to!

The "Home School" Video

It has been an absolute joy to see all the things our pupils have been up to in 'Home school'. We would like to say well done for the amazing job you've done as parents (& teachers) so far! This little video is just a snapshot of what's been shared on our blog over the last few weeks and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did seeing all the pictures you have shared with us. Thank you!
By the way, if anyone wants to discuss routes into a teaching career...?

Diorama delight..

This creative kestrel has created a really sweet diorama of the last scene of our book 'Tuesday' by David Weisner.  We love it!

Green fingers!

This kestrel certainly has green fingers!  Just look at the avocado plant he has grown from seed.  Impressive!

More great animal adaptations...

Well done to these 2 kestrels for their super work on animal adaptations.

A beautiful tribute to the NHS

Well done to this kestrel for her fabulous tribute to the NHS.  It must have taken a very long time to complete.  We love the choice of words that she has used to express her thanks.

A budding illustrator?!

I was blown away by the standard of this comic strip produced by one of our kestrels.  She has presented her narrative (written last week, based on our book 'Flotsam') in graphic form and it is superb!
