Last week, 10 children took part in the Hampshire School Games Sport and Activity Festival in Winchester. This was an opportunity for children to experience different sports throughout the day and was a fantastic chance to practice new skills! The activities on offer were:
Athletics (Throwing, Running and Long Jump)
Skipping
Boxing
African Drumming

On Friday 16th June, the Robins class spent the day at Manor Farm. They had an absolute blast! This trip linked brilliantly with our topic, 'School Days' so it was the perfect opportunity to share what we already knew about this topic and find out more information.
We took part in lots of fun activities throughout the day which included: a Victorian School role play session (Mr Finn and Mr Adams got told off) playing Victorian games, visiting the Victorian house, going on a bug hunt and seeing all the animals. A highlight was feeding the baby goats!
The whole day itself was really fun and a memorable experience 😀
