Kindness matters...

 In the SUPER Swift class today we looked at what it means to be thankful. This ties in wonderfully with our RE unit and the importance of being grateful. As a way of applying our knowledge of this topic we created thank you cards to people that meant the most to us. The messages were well thought out and decorated beautifully. 

Watching the Swifts make cards for one another though was the best feeling. It really melted my heart!

SUPER Swifts are back!

WOW! What a day it's been for the SUPER Swift class! They have been utterly amazing, we couldn't have asked for more. Today they got a taste of what it was like to be in Year 2. The Swift team have been blown away by them. Well done! 

Here's a peek of what they got up to...

We made a wish for the year and put it in our 'dreams jar.' At the end of the year we will open the jar up to see if it's come true!

As SUPER Swifts are sweet, we wrote a compliment for each other on some jelly bean templates. These will be displayed in the classroom for all to see!

We had a go at sketching our very own portraits this afternoon. They look FAB! These will be made up into a funky display outside the classroom for all the view. We have some talented artists!

This task allowed me to ask my Swifts what kind of teacher they wanted. The responses were very unique indeed but I'll try my hardest to do them all!

Finally, no Swift class is complete without our standard Swift selfies. So we took it in turns to take a snazzy selfie using some photo-booth props. These will be up for everyone to see soon. Here's a few though...

Amazing Artists in the making...

The Swift A team had a fab afternoon creating some African patterns. They are absolutely amazing! Mrs Stubley and I were super impressed with the level of creativity put in. Well done Swifts, you did a great job!

FUN in the Swift class today! The Swifts B team have been really creative this afternoon. Using 2D shapes they have drawn an African animal. How fabulous! Just like the Swifts A team, they've done an amazing job. Miss Bradley and I are blown away by the pride put in.  Mrs Egerton and Mr Adams even took a peek at them and were really impressed! Well done Swifts :)

SWIFTS B team SOAR!

The SUPER Swift B team were in today and it was so lovely seeing their fab faces! They've got back into the swing of things so quickly and really enjoyed being back today. Take a sneak peek of what they've done today :)
