Kingfisher's are acing their Rainbow Challenges

Wow!  This Kingfisher has been super busy.  We are very impressed! Well done! This is what her mummy said...

'… has enjoyed the rainbow challenges this week.

Orange – naming the animals.

Green – exercise - tuck jumping as high as possible was fun, but … and her sister really enjoyed the video in the mindfulness activities folder, watching the dance video shotgun many times in a row, copying the dance moves or making up their own.

Blue – Ice making fun. … and her sister spent a long time deciding which toys to freeze over night for this experiment. Mainly lego and peppa pig figures!  We also did an experiment with fruit in the ice lolly mould.  One with crushed blueberrys and one with whole ones.  They came out very different in both colour and taste.

Purple – tracing shadows. Slightly more tricky than expected, but … managed to trace around a mini lego unicorn!

Yellow – rhyming scavenger hunt.

Red – Maths. .. was keen to do some maths on Monday and used her bead collection to help herself count out the numbers to get the correct answers.'

I love how creative she's been with the ice challenge.  Well done for using some concrete resources from around your house to help you with your subtraction challenge.  This is super work.  Thank you for sharing it with us!
