A super creation from a robin!

Wow! In Year 1 this year, we have looked at materials and their properties. Back in the Autumn term, we conducted an investigation to find out which materials were the most waterproof. We then used this to help us design a waterproof coat for Winnie the Pooh.

On the home learning pages, I set a challenge to find out which materials float and to use this to design a boat. This wonderful robin has used a range of materials to design and test her boat. Look how brightly coloured it is! Could see myself on this boat, lounging in the sunshine, reading a book somewhere in the sunshine...
