JPCSOs: The Police Van!

The JPCSOs were exploring the inside of a Police transport yesterday. We were learning about how the Police work and the equipment they use to keep us safe. We were very careful not to touch anything. The siren wasn't working either, at least that's what they told us...

Fabulous Fairthorne!

Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their adventures at Fairthorne - orienteering, tree abseiling, aerial runway and archery. So many new skills learnt and personal challenges achieved. The sun even came out too!

Fun at Fairthorne!!

The children have all arrived safely and are having a wonderful time! The sun was also shining! Be prepared for the washing - it was very muddy!

World Book Day

Today was World Book Day and to celebrate we all came to school dressed in pyjamas, ready to share our bedtime stories! There was a chance for children to get together to share their favourite books and some classes even wrote their own bedtime stories. Every year group also decorated their classroom door to represent their favourite story.

Thank you to those of you who have already entered the 'Get Caught Reading' competition. You still have time to send in your pictures of you reading in the most weird & wonderful places! A winner will be chosen on Friday 14th March.

Year 1 farm!

Year 1 had a great time on the farm in school today! They got to stroke the animals and even hold a chick.

Farm visit Bitterne Manor!

For once the sun is shining and the children are outside learning about all the different animals! I managed to escape from the office and join Year R!
