In Year 3, we have been studying the book 'The Day the Crayons Quit' by Oliver Jeffers. We are very busy writing letters as if we were the crayons (photo of the display coming soon). This afternoon we wrote speech bubbles to show what we thought our crayon would be saying and thinking!

Year R make a great start to school life!
We have very much enjoyed welcoming the new children and parents into our school over the last two days! Group A have made such a fantastic start! We have been busy exploring areas of the classroom, our favourites have been painting, building ships using the lego, acting as mums and dads in our home corner, riding the bikes and using the laptops!
We also enjoyed becoming secret spies today and exploring the rest of the school!
We very much look forward to welcoming group B tomorrow!

Welcome to Year 3!
Year 3 have had a fantastic start to Year 3. We have been working hard on researching the author Oliver Jeffers, and have written fact files about him. We have started learning about hunter-gatherers and had our first recorder lesson today- not as many squeaks as expected!
Miss Blightman, Mrs Carey and Miss Gardiner have been really impressed with your attitude so far. Keep it up!
Here is a picture of our class totem pole. Each child has done a picture to represent their skill. We think it looks pretty cool!

Year 1!
We enjoyed making our 'belonging' flags today. Year 1 worked so hard in small groups to draw and write about where they belong, for example family, school and clubs.
