Solent School Games Roadshow

Yesterday years R to 6 spent an hour taking part in multi-skills activities in which children enjoyed competing to gain points for their houses. The points will be added together and the Solent mascots will present certificates and the winning house will receive a plaque.

Voting for our Lead Learners has started...

Year 3 have started the voting off. Good luck to all the candidates! 

A visit from Southampton City Mission!

The children enjoyed an assembly led by Chris and Matt from Southampton City Mission in order to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Southampton becoming a city. They presented each class with a Bible containing the complete New International Version Bible text, as well as colourful re-tellings of 50 Bible stories.

We are looking forward to welcoming back Chris and his team for our Harvest Festival assembly on Tuesday 19th October. We will once again be collecting food donations for Basics Bank. If you are able to donate, please can you send these in from 6th October. Many thanks for your support. Please look out for a flyer!

More year 2 maths!

Year 2 have been learning how to measure length in centimeters. They were given the challenge of measuring and cutting the correct length of ribbon for teddy's birthday presents. Great job Year 2!

Playground Improvements Completed!

We're all very pleased to see our new playground feature finally completed. It's taken a little longer than we expected but now it's finished it is a massive improvement and the children are already enjoying it!

Year R enjoy school life!

A very big welcome to Group B! We are very pleased that Year R are in full time and we have very much enjoyed introducing them to school life and getting stuck into lots of fun and learning! We have been busy learning all about each other and looking at our baby photos! We have also enjoyed many different activities including PE, listening games, number time and singing.
