Champions of Change at Bitterne Manor!
Our own Champions of Change were celebrated in assembly this morning in support of Children in Need. The children had made a special effort to raise awareness and money in support of this great cause. We'd already had over £200 in donations by lunchtime. Thank you for supporting Children in Need!
Year 5 and Children in Need!

Year 5's performance of "The Highwayman"
Owl class have been working hard on their performance of Alfred Noyes' poem "The Highwayman". We worked in pairs to annotate one verse of the poem with how to read with expression: changing the volume, the tone, adding sound effects etc. Our performance was filmed and is now available to view on the podcasting section of our website. We hope that you enjoy it!
Champions of Change!
This year at our school
we
will once again be raising money for BBC Children in Need by inviting pupils to attend school dressed as a hero or champion of change!

Help Bitterne Manor Primary School raise extra funds for free - just by shopping online!
Did you know that whenever you buy anything online this Christmas - from the perfect gift and novelty socks to your turkey and pantomime tickets - you could be raising a free donation for Bitterne Manor Primary School?
There are nearly 3,000 retailers on board ready to make a donation, including Amazon, John Lewis, Marks & Spencers, Aviva, thetrainline, and Sainsbury's - it doesn't cost you a penny extra!
It's really simple, all you have to do is:
1. Join - Head to http://www.easyfundraising. org.uk/causes/ bitternemanorprimary and sign up for free.
2. Shop - Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first, pick the retailer you want and start shopping.
3. Raise - After you've checked out, that retailer will make a donation to your good cause for no extra cost whatsoever!
The PTA is hoping to raise enough funds to be able to revamp the school library and make it a fun learning zone for the children. All monies raised via Easyfundraising will help support this project so please help us this Christmas - there are no catches or hidden charges and we'd be really grateful for your donations!
Thank you for your support!
