Southampton Primary School Swimming Gala
Wow! What an afternoon at the Southampton Primary Schools Swimming Gala! Competing against 8 other local schools we made a formidable team. There were some outstanding individual performances and some nail biting team relays - we now have to wait for the full results to come through.
Every member of the team swam beautifully and with determination but Bitterne Manor also shone from poolside with their encouragement and support for each other.
Many thanks to Mr Finn and Mrs Niziolek for their help and motivation.

We, alongside Southampton City Council, are supporting National Clean Air Day! The children had the opportunity this morning to ride or scoot to school and come for 'Biker's Breakfast'. The children will also have time learning outside in the fresh air!

Just Try It!
Kestrels and Owls had a fantastic day on Thursday at the Sports Ground trying out a variety of sports. Some were very familiar (football, rugby and cricket) others a little more unusual (wheelchair basketball, yoga and assault course). The children had great fun trying out all of the activities on offer and were brilliant at throwing themselves in to all the events - despite the weather trying to spoil things with a few heavy showers!
