Kingfisher class have made an exciting start to their topic 'Down into the Woods' by learning about the Gruffalo this week. They are looking forward to using their new role play area that has been turned into a campsite. Kingfisher class thought of what we would need in our role play to create a campsite. They were fantastic at thinking up ideas and we made a long list. Take a look at our brilliant new campsite.

New Wet Playtime Activities
What a wet start to the year! We are so grateful to the PTA for providing classrooms with a brand new collection of resources to keep pupils' occupied during wet breaks. Thanks for your support!
Skylarks are authors!
Before Christmas, Skylarks took part in a Kindness Advent Calendar! On the last week our task was to create a class story. Each child in the class wrote one sentence to make our very own festive tale! We then illustrated our story with magical pictures and wonderful drawings! Skylarks were so proud of their story, how they had worked together to create such marvelous piece of writing and now it will last forever with our very own class book! It shows that if you work together you can achieve amazing things!
Scroll down to take a look at our very own book! :)
New Playground Markings...
... are all installed and ready for the children to use! They look really good. It is frustrating that the weather has kept us from using them today.
The funding for the markings was provided by the 'Sugar Tax' grant which we were successful in obtaining. Thanks to the support of Testlands Community in making it happen.

Level 6 BA (Hons) Beauty Promotion student Hollie Bryant has championed this in Southampton. We are posting this so you may be able to support by bringing unopened beauty and hygiene products to the store to support those that need them most.
