Our Clever Kingfishers are getting into the swing of Home Learning!

I want to say a massive well done to this young lady who has demonstrated such a positive attitude towards her Home Learning.  I am so proud of you and how hard you are working.

It's only the second day of Home Learning and look at how many rainbow Challenges this Kingfisher has already completed!

Keep up the good work!  I can't wait to see what else you get up to.

Robins rocket through their first days of home learning!

Despite school only being closed for two days, Robins have been busy working at home and sending in some AMAZING work!

I am so proud of the resilience, determination and motivation that my Robins have shown already and I can't wait to see what else they get up to!

School Closure Announcement

Further to the government directive tonight our school will now be closed to all pupils except for vulnerable children and children of keyworkers. As the lockdown has only just been announced, we have not yet received full guidance as to exactly what the key worker categories or vulnerable children will be.

For the time being, if your child was attending school during the lockdown in March, you are able to send them in from tomorrow. We will review this as and when further guidance is made available.

If you are new to the school or your situation has changed since the first lockdown and you feel that your child is now entitled to attend school during lockdown please contact us and we will do our best to help.

We have begun preparing online learning for this situation so you can already find some learning available on the newly updated website on your child's class pages and the home learning section here: https://www.bitternemanor.co.uk/class-pages/

Tomorrow, teachers will begin expanding this and moving all learning online.

We will be in touch again tomorrow with further information. Please bear with us as we move into this next stage.

Dazzling Ducklings wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!

We have had a FANTASTIC week having lots of festive fun! We very much enjoyed creating our Christmas play where some of us were frogs singing a fun frog song - see if you can spot us in the school film! We also joined in with singing the whole school songs!

We have enjoyed making paper chains, decorating trees, making snowmen, decorating festive biscuits, getting stuck into messy festive play, playing party games and more!

Our elf was very cheeky on his final night in school as he decorated the classroom with toilet roll! We then found him on a zip wire heading back to the North Pole!

Have a lovely break everyone!

Merry Christmas from the SUPER Swifts!

The Swift class have been absolutely AMAZING this term! The team and I are so proud of their efforts and could not have asked for more. You have all been outstanding learners!

The festivities leading up to Christmas have been very exciting, especially with our elf causing all sorts of havoc. As today was his last day in our class, he decided to wrap something special that belonged to the Swifts and they had to earn it back...it was a challenge indeed! Luckily, they managed it!

Here's a sneak peek of what they've been up to...

Thank you to all the Swift parents - you have been utterly awesome!

Have a VERY Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎄
