In Kingfishers we are totally engrossed in our minibeast topic.
We have been learning all about bees and how honey is made.

The SUPER Swift class were all about catching dreams today! They had a very fun day and learnt how to make dream catchers 😊 It took a lot of patience and resilience but we all got there in the end. I am extremely proud of the dedication and pride that my Swifts took. They look absolutely AMAZING! Some of these dream catchers will be selected for our 'REACH' competition. I think they are definitely worth showing off!
Here's a sneak peak of some of the dream catchers...
We continue to be grateful for all the donations towards the work we are doing to improve our outside areas. Along with donations from our own PTA, the COOP fund and Elliots Builders, we have now have been donated:
We want to say a massive thank you to all who have made a donation towards Miss Head's skydive. All money raised will go towards improving our Year R playground.
We would like to give a special mention to our local businesses CJR Propulsion Ltd, Paddle and Peel and Beauteous Salon who have all donated generously.

For those of you who have been collecting your children from school, you will have noticed the ongoing transformation of the outside areas of our classrooms. A small group of staff have been working hard with the children over the last few weeks to tidy up and plant these mini gardens. They have done a brilliant job so far! This is a great opportunity for pupils to be outside, be active, take pride in their surroundings and gardening is also a very nurturing activity. We would like to thank the PTA for their contribution to the plants and materials and donations we have recieved from the Coop fund and Elliotts Builder Merchants that have supported this project.
We have been having lots of fun in Ducklings! We have been exploring the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar and learning all about new life! We have also been having a lot of fun playing and exploring together during our Rainbow Time and also welcoming new friends! We have also been exploring numbers and rhyming words!
We are very excited that our caterpillars have arrived - we look forward to watching them grow!
Please take a look at our pictures!
Robins have been busy learning how to count in 2s and 10s! With such lovely weather we decided to grab the chalk and head outside to learn our 2s and 10s!
The children practised counting by 2 and 10 using these activities. They did such a fantastic job! Go team Robins!
