 Kestrels have just completed their latest concept in RE, 'Justice'.  Today they created posters or slide shows about a person who has famously fought for justice.  Here is some of their fabulous work:

Let's get physical!

Happy Friday! 

Jays have been really put through their paces this afternoon during their PE lesson. We were working on co-ordination, motivation and resilience and were using a wide range of equipment to practice different skills. We had hurdles, hockey sticks, basketballs, hula hoops, skipping ropes...the works! 

Once we felt confident, we tried completing it in a different way to challenge ourselves further. Take a look at some of our pictures!

Dance Live Performance

We are pleased to share some more pictures taken during the filming of the 'Just Imagine' performance! They all looked fabulous and did an amazing job! Well done to all that took part. A special thanks to Mrs Chance for once again inspiring our pupils to do their best!

Dance Live - Just Imagine

A great deal of hard work has been put into the Dance Live - 'Just Imagine' - project over the last year and today was the day the children's performance was filmed. We are so proud of all of their efforts and the important message they have shared through their performance. We look forward to being able to share this with you later this term.

Let’s explore the devastating impact humans are having our planet.  We know many of the solutions – we just need to act.  When we have a shared understanding of the problems we face, and the solutions available, change will happen.  We are the children of today, we want a better future, just imagine what we can achieve if we all do our bit.

Positivity blooms in our garden!

Skylarks have been busy filling our garden with not only beutiful flowers and plants but also messages of positivity!

Everyone has decorated their own stone with a positive message to bring a smile to your face!

Our Science made us shout WHOO-PEA!

 This afternoon in Science, Jays have been exploring sound. We have been trying to find out how we can make sounds louder or quieter. We used a drum and some dried peas to find out what happens when we hit the drum with a greater force. 

We found that the greater the force being applied, the bigger the vibrations and the louder the sound. 

Kingfishers have been busy bees!

In Kingfishers we are totally engrossed in our minibeast topic.

We have been learning all about bees and how honey is made.

The children have been learning how to find information out from non-fiction books.  We have looked closely at the frog life cycle.  While looking at 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' the children have gained a better understanding of the butterfly life cycle too.

The children have been using their addition and subtraction skills to work out the amount of fruit the hungry caterpillar has.

We have also been matching numbers and quantities.
