Jays' Trip to Fairthorne

Well, a week has now past since Jays were let loose at Fairthorne Manor and, as promised, here are some photos of our day!

We had lots of challenges to complete at Fairthorne, including:

  • Team Building Challenges
  • Archery
  • The Crate Challenge
  • The Ariel Runway
Each of these tasks required different skills. Throughout the day, we demonstrated bravery, resilience, team work and problem solving. It was a truly great day and thoroughly deserved!

Enjoy our pictures :)

Well done, Jays! You did me, and Bitterne Manor Primary School, proud.

Lots of learning and fun in Ducklings!

Ducklings have been very busy learning through lots of fun play activities! During our Rainbow Time we have been writing under the tables, exploring our dark den, making clay bugs, exploring sensory ice cream activities, creating an airport, setting up a beach on our tuff tray, exploring numbers and more!!

We also very much enjoyed watching our caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies!

Tik Tok Concerns

We have been notified by the Local Authority that there has been some disturbing content on Tik Tok recently.  The minimum age for this app is 13 but I am aware that many of our pupils have elder siblings who may be accessing it.  If your child does come across anything that causes concern, please report this to the police.

You can find further advice and guidance around security settings for Tik Tok (and other apps) including how to report any disturbing content, by using the following links:
