I really big well done to our Kingfishers who were amazing on the obstacle course this morning.
They completed laps of the inflatable obstacle course and then completed an obstacle course on the field as well.
They showed perseverance, motivation and lots of enthusiasm whilst doing their sponsored obstacle course.
A really big thank you for the sponsorship money given in too.
The children should sleep well tonight!!!
Good Afternoon!
In Jays this afternoon, we have been working on using branching databases to help us sort and classify living things.
First, we had a go creating a branching database together for liquorice all sorts:
Some photos from yesterday's Sports Day. The usual team spirit on show from the children in their bubbles but sadly without an audience this year!
In DT, Kestrels have been learning all about seasonal foods and healthy, balanced diets, so today they made seasonal meals from scratch.
One group made their own orzo pasta and added seasonal vegetables and even herbs grown in our very own herb garden; one group made their own wholemeal pitta bread and filled it with a variety of food groups and seasonal veg and the last group made carrot, celery and coriander soup, along with their own wholemeal bread!
We were seriously impressed with their skills and the food looked and smelt fantastic - let's hope it tasted as good as it looked when they got it home!
