Day 2 at PGL

What a beautiful, sunny day we have had today here at PGL!  We've enjoyed lots of activities including archery, abseiling, trapeze, buggy building and rifle shooting. All the children have been amazing. They have challenged themselves and encouraged and supported each other brilliantly. Fingers crossed for another fabulous day tomorrow!🌞🤞

Year 6 arrive at PGL!

Well we have safely arrived at Osmington Bay! The children have all settled into their dorms, enjoyed a tasty dinner (including huge slices of chocolate fudge cake!), had a tour of the site and are now enjoying a campfire with a fabulous backdrop of Weymouth in lights...there's even a cruise ship in!
We're all excited for a busy day of activities tomorrow!

Well done Ducklings!

A very BIG well done to all of our Ducklings who have had a brilliant half-term! We have loved welcoming back our Ducklings from last year and welcoming brand new Ducklings to our school!

They have impressed us with how well they have all settled. They have made new friends and explored lots of new activities and of course had lots of fun!

Our activities have included games to learn names, drawing around each other and naming body parts, listening games (including a listening walk with big ears!), fine motor skills activities to strengthen finger muscles, parachute games, sensory activities plus more! Please take a look. :)

Well done Ducklings!

SUPER Swifts elect their Learning Leaders...

It's been a very exciting day in the Swift class as they elected their new Learning Leaders! All candidates thought carefully about why they should be chosen and some even prepared speeches. It was a very tough decision but I am proud of each and every one of them. Go SUPER Swifts!

Here's a look at some of the speeches...

And a peek of the voting...

The results will be announced tomorrow...Goodluck! 🤞
