Year R springing into Spring

Reception have been busy this half term, taking part in a variety of activties related to our topic 'Spring'.
We have been amazed, watching our Cat Grass grow over the last few weeks. It has grown from seeds to 17 cms!

We also spent a morning listening to music that made us think of Spring while we produced a class 'Spring' collage.

Victorian Day in Year 5!

The children in Year 5 experienced a day in the life of a Victorian school child. We dressed in costume and took part in various Victorian lessons, including the 3 Rs, handwriting and drill. There was also a visit from Mr. Adams, the strict headmaster!

It was great fun but we decided that school is much better nowadays!
