SEAL Day

Today we have been learning about getting on and falling out. First Miss Cole made us greet each other. We found out that there are lots of different ways of doing this; like saying hello in any language, using hand gestures or facial expressions.  Next we disccussed what the KEY to being a good friend is. We wrote our ideas onto keys and decorated them. We looked at a clip from Toy Story where Woody felt left out and thought about how he and the other toys could have been better friends. In the afternoon we wrote each other a compliment and made friendship bracelets.

Well done to Kingfishers for completing their first half-term at Bitterne Manor

Kingfishers have been fantastic this half-term and we are very proud of every single one of them for getting stuck straight into school life at Bitterne Manor and for learning to be the best that they can!

We have had such fun making new friends as well as learning lots! We enjoyed our Bear topic very much, including creating our own bear hunt and making our own sandwiches for our picnic with our families! Thank you to all who came, we hope you enjoyed our bear rap!

Please have a look at our pictures!

We can't wait to start Autumn 2 and learn all about the seasons through our next topic, Jack Frost!
