Good morning Kingfisher class. Lets start the week with some fabulous work from this Kingfisher. Last week, he enjoyed playing Maths games, creating an amazing minibeast poster and he has drawn a beautiful flower whilst thinking about signs of Spring. Well done! It's great to see you are being creative and learning at home.
There are lots of ideas on our class pages for you to have a go at, if you would like to. We love receiving your emails of what you have been up to, so keep sending them in. Look out for our Story time page aswell.

Super Star!
I have been so impressed with some of the work sent in by Sukhi! Following our happily ever after topic, I set a writing challenge to retell the story of Cinderella. I was so excited to receive an email with Sukhi's story. She worked hard to include traditional fairytale features. I can also see how well she applied her sounds to her story!
A few days later I received another email from Sukhi, this time she was telling me all about her Science experiment. She had found a range of materials around her house and tested whether they would sink or float. I was so impressed to see that Sukhi had even written a prediction and a conclusion to her experiment!
Well done Super Sukhi, you have brightened my day!
Please keep your emails coming: robins@bitternemanor.net
I love hearing from you.
Stay Safe,
Miss Schofield.

Skylarks truly are SENSATIONAL!
It has been a strange first week but the sun is shining and Skylarks have managed to put a smile on my face everyday with the fab pictures of what they have been up to! Take a look below to see some of wonderful work they have produced...
Let's start with their rainbow challenge. So many of them have created some beautiful works of art to spread happiness and hope. This shows such kindness and positivity! Take a look...
Now let's take a look at their marvellous Maths... Skylarks used what they had been learning in class about shape and applied it to create their own shape dinosaur! They labelled all the properties of the shapes they used, from what angles they could find to even spotting parallel and perpendicular lines. I must say they look totally ROARSOME!
Some super Skylarks put their creative writing to good use! From wonderful letters for carers and people in isolation to writing a description of an Egyptian tomb discovery. Their enthusiasm blows me away and their handwriting is looking beautiful! :)
One sensational Skylark even put his super scientific knowledge to good use by make his own SOLAR OVEN! How impressive! Our very own Skylark scientist managed to melt chocolate chips onto his cookies and they do look delicious!
This smiling Skylark put her creative talents to good use by creating her own Egyptian pyramid from different materials! You should be very proud of yourself, they look fantastic!
And finally, this little musician has been practicing her skills with her very own ukulele! Such a beautiful song!
These images of you all continuing your love for learning make me tremendously proud! Please keep emailing them in to skylarks@bitternemanor.net. I can't wait to see what you get up to next week!
Keep smiling! :)
