Dear Swifts...

Class of 2020-2021,

I just wanted to say how amazing you all have been this year. Watching you all grow has been wonderful to see and you have come on leaps and bounds. With the tough year that we have had with all the challenges posed, you should be incredibly proud of all that you have achieved! I am beyond proud of you all and it breaks my heart not being able to say goodbye to you.

Thank you for helping me be the best teacher that I can be and showing me that Bitterne Manor Primary School really does have the most kind hearted children ever! Mrs Mayo, Mrs Rathore and I will always be here for you! You're in great hands with Mrs Norris and Mrs Stubley.

You'll always hold a special place in our hearts. Once a Swift, always a Swift 💜💛💗

Lots of Love

Miss Sangha

P.S. Have the BEST Summer ever, I can't wait to see you all beaming when you come back in September!

Here's a little something to make you all smile, some highlights of mine...

Farewell Kestrels 2021

!IMPORTANT INFORMATION! DropBox will only show you a preview of the first 15mins of the Leavers Film.  To view the full 20mins please make sure you download it first!  Enjoy!!

Today was a day of celebration and capturing the 'moment' for our Kestrel Class who leave for Secondary school in September!  It has been a great, fun-filled day with lots of shirt signing, balloon fun, pizza and cupcake eating!  It was also an emotional moment watching our Leavers film together and sharing our awards ceremony with parents.

Kestrels you have coped brilliantly with what has been another difficult year and we are all very proud of you!  Good luck at whichever secondary school you are moving on to; don't forget to come back and see us and have a great summer!

Summer Hamper Raffle Draw

The draw for the Summer Hampers took place today. We had a fantastic contribution making up all the the prizes you see below and thanks to all of you who contributed and also bought tickets. We have raised over £400! Quite an achievement considering the disruption we are all facing at the moment. Winners are being contacted to collect their prizes over the next few days.

Thanks to the PTA (...and the PTA bubbles children!) for making sure the draw was carried out fairly!

Free Holiday Clubs for Eligible Pupils

The national HAF (Holiday and Food) scheme in Southampton are offering families free holiday activities for pupils who are eligible for Free School Meals.  The provision will offer each eligible pupil, 4 hours a day, 4 days a week and for 4 weeks of the summer. To register, parents/carers need to log into the HAF site and register themselves and their child/ren. This pre-registration can be done NOW and from next Monday (19th July) parents will be able to select what provision they wish to sign their child up for.

Eligibility will be done through an internal verification process, to establish which pupils qualify for FSM and then each eligible child will be allocated their 16 credits. (This does not include the universal offer of FSM).
