Farewell PGL!

It's a wrap! We're on our way home!
We have had another super morning, in yet more sunshine, completing our final activities.
The children have all been absolutely brilliant this week and have made us very proud! They have challenged themselves at every opportunity; been respectful, polite, resilient and have been a credit to the school and their families.

Day 4 at PGL

Another glorious day here at PGL. It was a chilly start to the day, but for those on the beach this afternoon, you'd never have known it is November! The children have been incredible again today, pushing themselves to try new things and supporting each other brilliantly! Today's activities have included: aeroball, beach walk, rifle shooting, trapeze, sensory trail and...of course, the shop!

All about Hedgehogs!

To support our learning this half term we had a visit from Hamble Hedgehogs this afternoon.

They spoke to the class about hedgehogs; how they keep themselves safe, what they eat, what they can't eat, parts of a hedgehog, and they showed us pictures of the hedgehogs they currently have in their care. We learnt about Harriet and her baby hedgehogs, who are very cute!

The children enjoyed listening and learning about the Hedgehogs. They particularly enjoyed seeing pictures of the hedgehogs.

Thank you to our wonderful, supportive parents who kindly donated money for Hamble Hedgehogs. They were very touched and grateful to receive the donation to support them in their work.

We look forward to learning more about Hedgehogs, over the next few weeks, as well as making clay hedgehogs and baking hedgehog bread.

Year 6 Bake off...
