Year 5 have enjoyed tours of the city walls in order to find out more about the history of Southampton. They learnt how the city has changed from the time of the first settlers right up to the present day.
Year 5 children were able to tell us how a visit such as this brings learning alive and helps them to understand why places are like they are today. We need even more exciting visits like this!
