Election Results 2010

The results of our school council election have now been announced. We are pleased to welcome the following new councillors into their new role and wish them well in their new role of helping to improve the school over the next year.

Year 1: Magenta Catterree and Sheila Agyei-Afari
Year 2: Charlie Skeats and Louis Cox
Year 3: Callum Gregson and Curtis Rennie
Year 4: Jasmine Sainsbury and Nicola Jacobs
Year 5: Chiedza McNb and Holly Peterson
Year 6: Jack Skeats and Cheng Liu

If there are any parents who would be interested in supporting the school council or finding out more about how it works - please ask us and you would be very welcome!

    Congratulations to all those elected!

    Great idea to ask parents to help, maybe you could post here the kinds of things they might help with - it may help you to get more people to put themselves forward.

    In my experience, this might include anyone who could help with:
    - Budgeting
    - Publicity
    - Running projects
    - Building things
    - Websites
    - On-line research
    - Getting things cheaply
    - Fundraising
    - Running meetings

    What the adults involved have to do though is tread that difficult line between supporting and just doing it all! Offer advice and be a mentor, but help the pupils do it themselves.
