Travelling with Barnaby Bear!

We have had a very busy half-term 'travelling' to different countries and learning about them. We spent time exploring what each is like and comparing them to where we live.

We enjoyed finding out more about Poland. A big thank you to our Polish Assistant who answered many questions!

We ended our topic by 'flying' to China and having a Chinese New Year party to celebrate the year of the Goat. The children were fantastic in helping to create vegetable noodles to eat! We also used our cutting and creative skills to make lanterns and moving dragons and we used our imagination to set up a Chinese restaurant role-play and then we created a real one in class! We enjoyed eating our noodles and listening to Chinese music. We found the chop sticks tricky to use!

Year R Kite Fish and Clay Workshop!

A very big well done to those children in Years R-6 who made a sea creature out of clay! The children worked well to plan and make their sea creature, they were brilliant at supporting each other with ideas!

Year R had great fun making kite fish using lots of tissue paper, sequins and glitter!

Year 2 art attack!

Year 2 worked together to produce this amazing underwater scene!  Well done for all your hard work Year 2.
We also made fish using collage materials.
They were very inventive and looked amazing in our shoal flashdance.

Art-rrific!!!

Art attack has started with a bang.  My group made the most beautiful mobiles this morning.  I was lucky enough to have children from all years helping me with the creations!

We had a lot of fun!

It was lovely to see families enjoying working together!
