Marvellous Me!

Get wonderful news about your child’s learning and success.

MarvellousMe is an exciting app that tells you about the wonderful things that your child is learning, and pings you when they’ve been praised for good work or a great character skill.

It makes you smile, feel proud, and inspires better home learning support and encouragement.
Get Started. It’s free!

1. Download the MarvellousMe parent app, or join up at www.marvellousme.com
2. Tap ‘Sign Up’
3. Enter the join code provided by your child’s teacher.
4. Enter your name and email, and make up a password.




Tips.

• Invite partners, grandparents and carers to join up too.
• Tap ‘Settings’ and then choose ‘Share your app.’
• Send a Hi5 back every time you get wonderful news.
• Add more children by tapping ‘Add child’. Then enter their join code.
• See term dates and go to the school’s web site by tapping the icons on the home screen.

Incredible Years Programme

We have successfully managed to find details of the next Incredible Years Programme. This is a fantastic course, which is run for parents with children of primary school age 5-11.

The 12 week programme aims to promote:
- Positive parenting, supporting child/parent relationships.
- Increasing the use of positive strategies to enhance children’s positive behaviours.
- Increasing parent’s confidence to reduce unwanted behaviours.
- Use strategies to enhance positive behaviours, through praise, play and rewards.

VENUE: Valentine Primary School Monday’s
Dates: Starting 23rd April Last session 16th July
Time: 9.30-12.00 (Not running on Monday 7th May and Monday 28th May)

Refreshments are available
(No Crèche Facilities sorry)

Places are very limited so if you are interested, please do come and speak to Mrs Egerton to discuss a referral.

Democracy at Bitterne Manor!

Pupils had the chance this week to vote for their House Captains. All the Year 6 children who put themselves forward, read a speech about why they should lead their team. Some of them even gave out stickers! A big well done to all of them! The children then had 1 vote for who they wanted as their leaders. A huge well done to our new House Captains:
