Year R go on holiday

As part of our topic 'Sun, Sand and Sea' we had a holiday day in Year R. Not only did the children come to school in holiday clothes but also brought along their packed suitcases. They filled in booking forms and passports. The children experienced check in, security checks and passport control. They even travelled on an 'aeroplane'!

I would like to thank everyone who helped with the day.

Djembe Workshop

Some of the children have been investigating their rhythm in a djembe drumming workshop today. What fun!

"Grease" is the word!

Year 6 performed their end of show production of "Grease" to the whole school and to parents and friends. The children were absolutely amazing! Thanks to Miss Stapleton and year 6 for all of their hard work and dedication to making the show so memorable. Thanks also to parents and volunteers for all of your help preparing for the big night!

Walk the Walls!

Year 5 have enjoyed tours of the city walls in order to find out more about the history of Southampton. They learnt how the city has changed from the time of the first settlers right up to the present day.

Summer Fayre

Thanks to everyone that attended this years Summer Fayre - it was a great success! We would like to thank all those members of our super PTA who put such a lot of effort into organising and running it! Thank you!

Year 3 Summer Fayre plant stall

Year three are all set for the Summer Fayre with an impressive collection of plants for sale. They've been growing and caring for these outside their classroom - well done!
