Dancing the days away...

The year 5 Rock n Roll performance is getting closer. We have been working hard and practising our dance moves with the help of our expert dance teacher from Bitterne Park Secondary school!
As you can see, we have been having lots of fun!

Year 4 Mega Maths!

Year 4 have been learning about the properties of 2D shape this week. They worked really well in a team to sort shapes and produced some fantastic work. Well done Year 4!

Year 6 visit Milford-on-Sea

Last week the children in Year 6 enjoyed a trip to Milford-on-Sea to study a coastal environment. They were able to identify the different coastal features and see how sea defences help to protect the area. Luckily the weather was fantastic (even warm enough for ice-cream!).

New Team Captains

Our first team assembly has taken place and the children have elected their team captains for the coming year. The team captains will represent their teams and can be recognised by the special captain badges they wear - red for Victory, blue for Challengers, yellow for Stars and green for Freedom. Look up - as the winning house each week has their flag flying above the school for the week!

Year 3 become explorers

Year 3 have had an exciting to start to this term's topic work - we received an email from Indiana Jones asking for our help in following clues to find some treasure! We will all be learning how to send emails this term, including ones to Miss Naughton and her new class, far away in Milan, Italy.

What places have you visited during the summer holidays?

Year 2 at Southampton Boat Show

Year 2 had a great time at the boat show and particularly enjoyed the RNLI experience! Ask them to tell you all about dressing up.

The school gets a face lift during the holidays!
