Year R Games

Year R Have been learning
how to work as a team and
keep fit too.

Build A Bear!

Year R visited the 'Build a Bear Factory' this monday. We looked at lots of different kinds of bears and outfits and then voted on our favourite. The class decided to name our bear P.C. Teddington! The children had great fun and all took part in making the class bear.

Well done Year R for being such super stars and behaving so sensibly. A very big thank you to the nine parents who came with us- without you we wouldn't have been able to go and make our bear!

Sweet Science!

Year 6 have been getting to grips with Science investigation by exploring which sweet can stretch the most. After planning a fair test they made careful measurements and recorded their results in different ways. They all reached the same conclusion - strawberry laces are the stretchiest sweet!

An outside learning environment

The area in the playground known as 'the pond area' is due a make over!

Currently we are listening to ideas and suggestions pupils, teachers and parents have concerning this area of land. We would like to take the fence down and make it into an open area, allowing the children to access it during breaks and lunchtimes. To do this will mean that the pond will go! We would also like to use this space for lessons and there have been suggestions about having an outside classroom.

If you have any thoughts or ideas you would like to share, please feel free to comment below or come in and see me.

Thanks,

Mrs White
