Anti-bullying week
We have written some amazing stories, have given our classmates compliments through pictures, created a 'Say no to bullying' display using our bodies to make the shapes of the letters and taken part in drama activities. As a class we are most proud of our giant 'Say no to bullying poster'.
Thank you to all the parents who came in on Friday to see our work.
If you didn't make it in on Friday don't worry you haven't missed out, our display is up outside our classroom for you to see.

Anti-bullying week!
In year 5, we have been really busy with anti-bullying activities! We have talked about what bullying is, and what actions we should take if we think we are being bullied. To help us learn more about bullying and how we should act towards each other, we have created some storyboards in groups, some fantastic artwork and a communication charter! If you visit year 5, you will see the brilliant idea that some of the children came up with to make sure that everyone uses the charter every day!

Anti-Bullying Week 2011
We have had a busy week learning about Anti-Bullying. Every class has explored bullying, what it means, how it hurts, what to do about it and how to avoid being a by-stander.
This year's theme is "STOP AND THINK - Words can hurt". Each class has created a charter and explored how unkind words make us feel. They have also learnt to give compliments and make eachother feel good.
Parents were invited in to share in our work....we hope they enjoyed the visit!

Lots of measuring, comparing and sorting in Year 1!
Year 1 have been working very hard over the last couple of weeks in their Maths lessons. We have been measuring, comparing and sorting the weight, length and capacity of many different objects and putting our results into block graphs! We have also been describing and sorting objects as part of our materials topic in Science. Keep up the great work Year 1!
