ALADDIN comes to Bitterne Manor!

We had a treat at school today when we watched "Aladin" performed by M & M Productions. We laughed, sang, cheered and jeered! Mrs Mellor even had a dance with Aladin himself!

The mural goes on display!

Our new hall mural was fixed up in the hall during the Christmas break. It looks fantastic! Many thanks to 'Innovate Signs' for donating their time and services to the school to do a great fixing up job!

Christmas Craft Sale

The Year 6 classroom was buzzing yesterday after school as parents came to buy Christmas decorations and gifts. The sale continued this morning as children from across the school visited our 'shop'. The hard work Year 6 put into the project really paid off as we raised a record amount for activities later in the year! A huge well done to everyone and a big thank you to everyone who bought items.

Christmas Dinner Time!

It was a super Christmas Dinner today! Our compliments to the chef on the food and even though we are a healthy school - the choice of puddings was brilliant.

Though are we sure having Christmas parties in KS2 this afternoon is a good idea after all that food? We'll see!

Christingle 2011

Our Christingle service was held at the Church of the Ascension again this year. We would like to thank Rev Graham for hosting us and leading part of the service. Thanks to all those parents and helpers who supported us and helped us get to the church on time! Well done Reception class for their lovely nativity.

A Good Christmas With Many Outstanding Features!

Here we all are performing our Christmas production to parents. The show was in two parts with KS1 and Reception performing a series of songs about preparing for Christmas and KS2 presenting a version of the nativity as if a certain news channel had got hold of the story. We hope you enjoyed it! By the way, the title of our school Christmas production this year is a reference to our 'glowing' Ofsted Report.
