A Spring of Sports, Bring on the Summer!
The Spring term was filled with different events. To name but a few there was Sports relief, Gym fetival, Football and cricket tournaments. Sports relief was a fantastic day with children, teachers and quite a few parents taking part. Well Done to all.
Summer is shaping up to be even more sporty with Olympic week, football and cricket tournaments already in the diary.

Beebot Bonanza!
This week, year 5 have dived straight into their topic work! During our ICT lesson today, we were learning about programming and what it means in our day to day lives. We then all had a go at programming beebots in groups. We used the process of trial and error to reprogram them to follow the routes we had designed more accurately! As you can see, it was lots of fun, and we look forward to learning more about programming through the computer program 'Logo'!

Southampton Remembers ... Titanic Parade
Children from Year 2 and 3 (and their families) were excited to attend the Southampton Remembers Titanic Parade this week. It was a great event to show respect for the crew members, most of whom came from Southampton, who lost their lives when the Titanic sank in April 1912.
