Weaving workshop

Well done everyone who came to the weaving workshop. You produced this amazing underwater scene, weaving tissue paper, ribbon, paper, pipe cleaners and thread. The background and individual fish were made by children from Year 5 through to Year R who all worked together brilliantly. Thanks also to Mrs Stubley and Mrs Adams who also helped us in the Year 2 classroom.

Year 2 art attack!

Year 2 worked together to produce this amazing underwater scene!  Well done for all your hard work Year 2.
We also made fish using collage materials.
They were very inventive and looked amazing in our shoal flashdance.

Road Safety Message...

Our JPCSOs have been working on a road safety campaign and have produced a short film and poster. We get rather too many complaints about the traffic around our school for all sorts of reasons! It doesn't hurt to remind everyone to be careful on our roads and near our children now and again.

Art-rrific!!!

Art attack has started with a bang.  My group made the most beautiful mobiles this morning.  I was lucky enough to have children from all years helping me with the creations!

We had a lot of fun!

It was lovely to see families enjoying working together!

Art Attack - Printmaking

These prints were made by children from all year groups. They designed their own underwater scene then printed it onto a collage background. The children also created relief stencils using string which were put together to make a large under the sea print.

Art Attack - Wire Sculpture

Children from across the classes enjoyed making wire underwater creatures and creating their own fish designs from old CDs! They decorated them with buttons, sequins and all things shiny!
