Philharmagic Orchestra visit BMPS!
The children had a treat this morning when they were entertained by the fantastic Philharmagic Orchestra. It was great to listen to all the children's favourite songs being played live and to even get up and have a dance! One of our own very talented musicians was also able to take part. A huge well done to Lucy Gowans, who seemed very much part of the orchestra, even though she only received the music yesterday!
Zany Zebra nearly done...
Team Zebra are putting the final finishing touches on our Zany Zebra... Next week, we are being visited by a representative from Marwell Zoo who'll leading some workshops with the children on Zebra conservation. They will also be collecting our completed Zebra which will be being displayed in Southampton along with all the other Zany Zebras. We'll let you know more details about that shortly.
Sainsbury's Active Kids voucher collection ending soon...
This is the last week we can collect Active Kids vouchers when we shop at Sainsbury's. So we are letting you know that those vouchers mean a great deal for our school and provide a lot of much needed resources for PE, Games, Sports and the playground. Please remember to collect and donate on our behalf - thanks!

What's happening in our library...?
Work on the refurbishment of our school library has begun! All sorts of things were being carried into school yesterday and our imaginations are running wild... We can't wait to see it finished in the next few weeks or so.
The Biker's Breakfast!
Here are some pictures from our Biker's Breakfast event this morning as part of the 'Big Pedal'! This was very well attended and the smoothie bike was in constant action once again. Thanks to those children who came along and supported and to the BUG club who worked really hard to help run it.

What a busy week for Robins
Robins have had such a busy week!! On Tuesday we planted our rocket seed and choose our space biologists (Callum). On Thursday we took part in the Everest challenge where the children had to complete and inflatable assault course. It was lots of fun! We also planted our Broadbeans and are now waiting for them to start germinating. We will keep you updated.

Everest Challenge!
Earlier today the children took part in an 'Everest Challenge' run by the PTA. All children completed the challenge to the best of their ability and had so much FUN! This event was set and organised in order to continue to raise funds for the school library renovations and the PTA. So please ensure that your children return their sponsor forms and money as quickly as possible. A HUGE thanks to the Sports Solent staff and in particular, Lia Chance and Hannah Craggs. Without giving up their whole day to support the event our children would not have had such a great experience. Thank you! Here are some pictures showing just how much fun was had...
