A clever Swift!

Waking up to a new day and receiving messages of what you have been up to is the BEST start to my day. I was very lucky to receive a lovely email written from one of my SUPER Swifts...

Hi Miss Sangha

I am writing to tell you what I have done so far. So if you don't know what Whiterose Maths is then it's basically just Maths and I have been on this lots.

I have attached some pictures to show you what I have drawn and also some English that I did on a monkey.

I have also been doing some Science and learnt how to make a lava lamp though I haven't made it yet as we can't get all of the ingredients.

I really miss you and I hope you are getting lots of fresh air and not being bored.

Our Clever Kingfishers

Yet more super home learning from our clever Kingfishers!

Not only has this member of our class been working on her number and sorting skills, she has also been on a 2D and 3D shape hunt around her house.  Apparently this was her favourite activity of the day!  And look at her applying her phonics!  What a star you are!

    

 

This Kingfisher had tried the Joe Wicks workouts, but was a bigger fan of Cosmic Yoga.  Think I will join her in that one! We are really proud of you.

SUPER Swifts get...

CREATIVE! Learning at home isn't just about Maths and English.  You can explore the whole curriculum and be as imaginative as you like. These SUPER Swifts have done just that! They've been taking part in lots of Science experiments, in particular, one involving a volcano and preventing an egg from cracking from height! I hope that poor egg survived. As well as this, they've been learning about the wonders around the World! Yesterday, they had a French day where they created the famous Eiffel Tower using things around the house... tres bon! 

They've even been helping each other out when recapping Maths strategies learnt in class. How fab!
