More fantastic home learning from Kingfishers

Take a look at this brilliant home learning from one of our Kingfishers. He has been having lots of fun at home whilst learning about minibeasts and 'The very hungry caterpillar'. Take a look at his amazing poster all about centipedes. His picture of the hungry caterpillar looks just like the picture in the book. Well done!

Save the planet!

It effects everyone!

To animals, our litter looks like a tasty snack meaning we must not litter. A plastic bag might look like a jellyfish to a dolphin and a sweet wrapper may look like an animal to a sea gull. When this is consumed, it is stuck in the animal’s digestive system infecting it or killing it.

The littered sea

It is important that we keep our litter out of the sea because fish are a vital food source for us humans. If the fish are trapped in a bit of litter, then the fish could be infected and would not be edible. We must not let our sea life die, they are so important to us. If this goes on, the next generation may not even see a coral reef.

Our polluted land

The land is essential to us as it contains our inhabitancies and all of the other land animal’s inhabitancies. If we destroy our land, then we will begin to die out just like some of the other animals to. We have to stop using single use materials and start using reusable ones. We must not let the bees die as they play such an important role for our planet. Tis said that if all the bees die that man would only have four years left to live on this earth. So stop using your cars and start using your bikes. Stop dropping litter and start using the bin. It is so all the creatures can live on.

Hi Miss Sangha

I am writing to tell you what I have done so far. So if you don't know what Whiterose Maths is then it's basically just Maths and I have been on this lots.

I have attached some pictures to show you what I have drawn and also some English that I did on a monkey.

I have also been doing some Science and learnt how to make a lava lamp though I haven't made it yet as we can't get all of the ingredients.

I really miss you and I hope you are getting lots of fresh air and not being bored.

Our Clever Kingfishers

Yet more super home learning from our clever Kingfishers!

Not only has this member of our class been working on her number and sorting skills, she has also been on a 2D and 3D shape hunt around her house.  Apparently this was her favourite activity of the day!  And look at her applying her phonics!  What a star you are!

    

 

This Kingfisher had tried the Joe Wicks workouts, but was a bigger fan of Cosmic Yoga.  Think I will join her in that one! We are really proud of you.
