Stone Age Creations!

Skylarks have been looking at the Stone Age this week and combined this with their magnificent artistic talents! They have been creating their very own cave painting! How incredible is that?!?

I am so impressed with their wonderful enthusiasm for learning and having fun at the same time!

Keep smiling! :)

Marvellous Writing!

It's been so lovely receiving lots of writing this week where Swifts have been having a go at writing a description on George's Grandma! This Swift shared her writing with me and her Mum was really impressed. I've got to say so am I!

Have a read for yourself...

Wow! I love your descriptive language Hollie, thanks for sharing :)

If any other Swift would like to share what they've been up to you can do that via our class email - swifts@bitternemanor.net

It would be lovely to hear form you!

Thank you NHS!

An Owl showing her appreciation for the NHS and all of the hard work they're currently putting in.

Marvellous Mathematicians

These SUPER Swifts are mad about their Maths and have been showing off their skills by completing lots of tasks and challenges.  I'm so impressed with how much Maths they have been doing - it's fabulous! Here are just a few examples...

Smiling Kingfishers

Have a look at one of the rainbow challenges completed by a smiley Kingfisher this week.

Here are his kites that he has made out of newspaper. They look brilliant!

And his completed rainbow showing us he has completed all the challenges set this week. Well done!

Robins have been writing in role.

Good Morning!

Robins have been looking at the story "Click, Clack, Moo" for their home learning jobs over the past few days. It is all about farm animals getting hold of a typewriter and sending lots of bossy letters to their farmer!

Robins were asked to write a letter back from the farmer to the animals and were challenged to use events from the story in their writing.

Tobi and Kacper have written some fab letters in role as the farmer! They even remembered our letters toolkit from when we were at school and remembered to include who it was to and from.

Letter from Farmer Tobi:

Letter from Farmer Kacper (he knows who is boss!)

Well done boys, these are fab!
