'Weighting' around!

This clever Kingfisher has completed all his Rainbow Challenges this week.

His favourite challenge was ordering objects by weight.
He became a human weighing scales and compared the weight of all his dinosaurs.
Our Kingfisher then order his dinosaurs from the heaviest to the lightest, using comparative language as he did so.
Fantastic!

NASA needs you!

This SUPER Jay has created a fantastic poster to advertise a position at NASA! What an amazing poster!

Do you think you have what it takes?! Well done Lola! SUPER work!

Location! Location! Location!

This week, for our Location! Location! Location! topic - Jays have been focusing on the MOON!

What a great location to start off the topic with! Every week Jays will be focusing on a different location. Here is a sample of their SPACETASTIC work! I wonder where we will go next week...

A keen robin

Good afternoon!

One of my Robins has left me massively impressed. He was so interested in his sister's Titanic topic, he decided to prepare himself for Year 2 by making his own model of the Titanic!

He designed it, built it out of recycled materials and then painted it. How fabulous does this look?

Well done, you! Miss Sangha will also be so pleased to know how excited you are already about your topics in Swifts.

Fantastic Kingfishers

A huge well done to our fantastic Kingfishers this week continuing their learning both in school and at home. We have loved having some of our Kingfishers back in class this week and we have continued to receive emails of work completed at home.

Take a look at this work by one of our Kingfishers who has completed all her Rainbow challenges at home this week and has received her Rainbow challenge certificate.

Another one of our clever Kingfishers, has enjoyed playing post offices this week. He created a post box and a sign. He then wrote letters and posted them into his post box. Fantastic Kingfishers!!!!
