Super Skylarks smash week 1!

Skylarks have had a great first week (3 days) They have really settled in well and are already getting used to new routines. They have been excited to get started on their year 3 journey and have really impressed Mr Taylor with their fantastic attitudes to learning.
Today, Skylarks have set themselves targets for the year; represented numbers in different ways in maths; shared their fantastic knowledge of nouns, verbs and adjectives with Mr Taylor in English and have even begun learning a new song in music. Wow what a week!
Keep up the fabulous work Skylarks!

ROCKING Robins first day!

The new ROCKING Robins class of 2023-2024 have been utterly amazing today! They have thoroughly enjoyed their first day back activities and been absolute stars ⭐

We started the day by exploring our new classroom and going through new rules and routines. We then went through the school rules - 'Be Ready, Be Respectful and Be Safe.' Miss Sangha taught us actions to go with these too. Ask me about these!

We spent time thinking about our learning value for this half term which is the 'Heart' and ways to show kindness to one another 💗 We shared examples and wrote them on a jelly bean template where Miss Sangha will make a display out of it!

We have been active too and did some just dances, Miss Sangha and Mrs Baird joined in with us. It was fun!

The afternoon was spent doing rainbow time so we got to play with our friends. It's been a really fabulous first day back.

Here's a sneak peak...

Roll on tomorrow 😊

Welcome Back!

We would like to welcome back everyone to a new term. Best wishes to the new Year 7's as they begin their next phase of education. For all of us at Bitterne manor, let's get back learning to be the best we can!
