"Welcome on board Active Nation’s Buzz Network programme. After two great years working with the Buzz Network we have changed around the activities to give you lots of variety around what you
take part in, and when. There are some really fun new activities starting, including; SUP (Stand up
Paddle boarding), Archery, Watersport Adventure sessions as well as the popular Swimming and
Skiing activities too. With our very friendly instructors, expert tuition and the best quality kit and
equipment, all our activities are guaranteed to make your child want to come back each week for
more!

For parents and carers, all our centres offer great viewing platforms, with comfy seating meaning

you can also have a break and relax. Woodmill Outdoor Activities Centre hosts a shop and café,

and Southampton Water Activities Centre has a cosy lounge area offering free tea and coffee, with a

360 degree balcony - which means you can take some amazing shots of your children having a

great time!"

Zany Zebras in Town!

We thoroughly recommend doing the full tour over the Summer and look out for our own 'Heads, Hearts and Hands' Zebra!

Bitterne's Got Talent!

Our talented Year 6 pupils put on their leavers' show for parents and family members last night. We were all very entertained by song, dance, comedy, magic, martial arts and even a dog act! It was great show and brilliant to see a fantastic bunch of children having so much fun.

Sports Roadshow

We had a great day on Monday joining in with the sports roadshow.  The children took part in a number of activities and earned points for their house team. They got to meet Sparky and Buddy the two mascots.

An Outstanding School!

Following our recent inspection on the 21st/22nd June, we have just received the official report which grades our school as 'Outstanding' in all areas. The report will be being distributed to parents today and we will be making it available on our website. The published report will also appear on the official Ofsted website very shortly. We would like to say how proud we are of our staff and pupils! This is a massive achievement and we are part of a great team who thoroughly deserve this recognition. We also like to thank our superb community for their continued support and working with us to make this possible. What more can we say...? We are learning to be the best we can!

Sports Day Results 2016

Well done to Heroes who were this years overall winners. The full results are as follows:

Heroes: 2556 points

Champions: 2539 

points

Superstars: 2499 

points

Legends: 2374 

points

The individual team top three results were as follows: 

1st place: Champions 1 with 979 points
2nd place: Superstars 3 with 966 points
3rd place: Heroes 1 with 912 points

Children placed either 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their respective class races will also have received a certificate. Well done to everyone for doing their best!

Here are a few pictures of our Sports Day! The weather was perfect and it was great that lots of you were able to be there to see your children taking part. It's always a great team event and everyone works so well together to make it successful and inclusive. We even made time for some staff and parent races at the end, this year. We've never seen some of our staff move so fast... We hope you all enjoyed your picnic afterwards!
